Visakhapatnam:In a significant boost to regional air connectivity, Union civil aviation minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu announced that morning flight services between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam would resume on June 1. This initiative aims to enhance convenience for passengers travelling between Andhra Pradesh’s financial hub Visakhapatnam and its capital region Vijayawada.
The new flight schedule has been designed to accommodate passenger needs better. The IndiGo Airlines ATR flight will depart from Vijayawada at 7:15 am and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 8:25 am. On the return journey, the flight will leave Visakhapatnam at 8:45 am and reach Vijayawada at 9:50 am.
Ram Mohan Naidu emphasised the importance of strengthening regional aviation connectivity and expressed his enthusiasm for reinstating this crucial air route. “Fast transportation between developing cities is a priority for our ministry. Considering the growth of the state and the needs of passengers, I am delighted to see this vital service return,” he stated.
