Visakhapatnam: Two Youths Killed in Accident Near Kurmannapalem RTC Bus Depot
Due to the impact, the scooter carrying Krishna and Rambabu was pushed under the wheels of an RTC bus travelling ahead. Both sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.
Visakhapatnam: Two youths were killed in a road accident in front of the Kurmannapalem RTC bus depot. The deceased were identified as Nakka Krishna and Rambabu, residents of Kotturu near Duvvada Sector-1.
According to reports, both were working at the MedTech Zone. After completing their duty, they were travelling on a scooter. While taking a U-turn near the bus depot, a speeding tipper lorry travelling from Anakapalli towards Gajuwaka reportedly rammed into two two-wheelers.
Due to the impact, the scooter carrying Krishna and Rambabu was pushed under the wheels of an RTC bus travelling ahead. Both sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.
One person on other scooter also seriously injured. The injured person was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Police reached the spot and began an investigation into the accident.
