Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA), as part of its CSR initiative, deployed a water fogging and mist cannon on RK Beach Road and Railway Station Road to provide relief from prevailing heat wave conditions.
Officials said the fogging operation would be conducted daily from 11 am to 3 pm between RK Beach and the Appughar area, besides other major public footfall locations.
Tourists and visitors appreciated the initiative, stating that it would offer considerable relief from the extreme summer temperatures.
The temporary deployment of the mist cannon aims to reduce ambient temperature and improve comfort levels for citizens and tourists until weather conditions improve.
