Vizag Beach Murder Mystery: Fisherman Found Dead Near Harbour
One Town police reportedly sent the body to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Visakhapatnam: A man was allegedly brutally murdered, and his body was found near the beach at Fishing Harbour in Visakhapatnam. Locals who noticed the body immediately alerted the police.
According to reports, the deceased was identified as Mailapalli Chanti, a native of Mukkam village in Bhogapuram mandal of Vizianagaram district. He was engaged in fishing for a living and had been living in Visakhapatnam with his wife and children.
Police, who received the information, reached the spot and conducted a preliminary investigation. They found injuries on his head, allegedly caused by a stick. Police also noticed marks around his neck, raising suspicion that he may have been strangled.
The One Town police reportedly sent the body to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Chanti's sister, Appalakonda, lodged a complaint at the One Town police station.
Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death and identify those responsible for the alleged murder and dumping of the body near the beach.
