Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Airport experienced significant flight delays on Friday due to poor visibility caused by continuous rainfall. Several flights were affected, causing inconvenience to passengers.
Indigo flight 6E618 from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam was delayed by 2 hours, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) at 9 am instead of the scheduled time (STA) of 7 am. Similarly, flight 6E217 from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam was delayed by 1 hour and 40 minutes, with an ETA of 7.50 am. Another Indigo flight, 6E557 from Chennai to Visakhapatnam, was delayed by 1 hour and 15 minutes, with an ETA of 9 am.
An Air India Express flight IX2563 from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam was delayed by 1 hour and 15 minutes, with an ETA of 10.20 am instead of 9.05 am.
