Vijayawada: NIT Delhi, Vignan’s University Sign Five-Year MoU for Education and Research
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi and Vignan’s University have signed a five-year pact to boost collaboration in technical education, research, faculty development and technology transfer.

Vijayawada: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi and Vignan’s University have signed a five-year pact to boost collaboration in technical education, research, faculty development and technology transfer.
This was stated here on Thursday by Vignan’s University Vice-Chancellor Prof Krishna Kishore.
The partnership would facilitate laboratory visits, exchange of scientific information and research material, and joint conferences, seminars, faculty development programmes and workshops. It would also enable virtual guest lectures and faculty exchanges under Faculty Immersion Programmes.
Faculty members would undertake joint research and publish papers besides submitting proposals for funding joint projects. As per UGC norms, the NIT Delhi faculty may serve as co-supervisors for Vignan PhD scholars. NIT Delhi experts can also assist in curriculum and syllabus design.
NIT Delhi would provide guidance for developing Vignan’s laboratories, workshops and other facilities.
Its faculty would be invited as resource persons for conferences, workshops and short-term courses at Vignan, while Vignan faculty can participate in immersion and quality-improvement programmes at NIT Delhi.
