Vijayawada: Free Skill Training for Unemployed Youth
Employment opportunities in reputed companies will also be facilitated for eligible trainees after completion of the courses.
Vijayawada: The NTR district administration will provide free skill training to unemployed youth in web development and two-wheeler mechanics under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), NTR district collector Dr G. Lakshisha said on Sunday.
The training is being organised by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to equip youth with job-oriented skills and improve their employment prospects.
A three-month Web Developer course will be offered at the Skill Hub at Government Polytechnic College, opposite Ramesh Hospital, Vijayawada. Candidates who have completed Intermediate, diploma or any degree are eligible.
Free training in Two-Wheeler Mechanic will be available to those who have passed Class 10, ITI, diploma or Intermediate. Employment opportunities in reputed companies will also be facilitated for eligible trainees after completion of the courses.
Employment officer C. Madhubushan Rao and district skill development officer S. Srinivasa Rao will supervise the programmes.
