Vijayawada: Former MP Kesineni Nani was booked following MP Kesineni Chinni's complaint to police that the former was spreading false information against him on social media.
In the complaint, Chinni mentioned that Nani released a public letter alleging he was benefiting from Ursa Clusters Private Limited. Ursa Clusters is setting up an AI hyperscale data center at a cost of Rs 5,728-crore in the State. Nani also alleged that Ursa Clusters is a fraudulent and benami company floated by Vijayawada MP Chinni (Kesineni Sivanath).
Chinni also stated that he had sent legal notices following Nani's allegations that he was encroaching government lands in benami transactions. Instead of replying to the notices, Nani is spreading false information about me, Chinni said.
Chinni lodged a complaint with the Patamata police. Cases were registered against Nani under Sections 204, 351, 352, 353, 356, 61 of BNS and Sections 66, 66(C), 66(D), 67, 71 of IT Act. Investigation is on into the cases.
