Vijayawada: A woman’s family members assaulted her ex-lover after he threatened to leak her private photos and videos.
According to preliminary information, the woman, who is married to another man, was being harassed by her ex-lover for the past month. He pressured her to meet him and threatened to make her private photos and videos public if she refused to do favours for him.
The man leaked some of the woman’s private photos and videos on social media and also sent them to her husband. After learning about the incident, the woman informed her family members. Following the incident, the woman’s husband left her.
The woman’s family members later planned to confront him. She called him to Vijayawada, following which her family members confronted him near PVP Mall.
The family members assaulted the man before handing him over to the police. Police have taken him into custody and are investigating the incident. Further details are awaited.
