Vijayawada Central MLA Inaugurates Sathya Sai Police Booth in Vijayawada
MLA praised the organisation for its unwavering commitment to selfless service

VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada Central MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao on Sunday inaugurated the Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Police Booth established by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations at Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Circle, Kotha Vanthena Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA praised the organisation for its unwavering commitment to selfless service. He said it had consistently supported people during natural calamities, provided medical assistance, encouraged students and undertaken several humanitarian initiatives.
Referring to the recent flood relief operations at Ajith Singhnagar, he commended the dedicated efforts of Sevadal volunteers and appreciated the leadership of R.J. Ratnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, and R. Lakshmana Rao, State President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Andhra Pradesh.
Umamaheswara Rao said the Police Booth had been established at the historic site where Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba blessed Vijayawada during his visit on April 6, 1983. He said the initiative reflected Baba's messages, "Love All, Serve All" and "Help Ever, Hurt Never."
National Service Wing Coordinator S. Koteswara Rao, State President R. Lakshmana Rao and NTR district president G. Sai Viswanatham felicitated the MLA. State office-bearers, district representatives and Sevadal volunteers attended the programme.
