Vijaya Sai Skips SIT Inquiry On Liquor Scam

Vijayawada:Former MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy skipped the AP CID’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiry into the state’s liquor scam on Thursday, citing preoccupation with other work.

The SIT had earlier issued a notice to him to appear for questioning on April 18. In response, he had communicated his intent to appear a day earlier, on Thursday, due to prior commitments. Accordingly, the SIT made arrangements to question him upon his arrival. However, he failed to turn up and instead sent another communication stating he was unable to attend due to being preoccupied.
