VB-G RAM G Scheme Rolled Out Across Rayalaseema
In Kadapa district, the scheme was inaugurated at Tippireddipalle village in Pendlimarri mandal of Kamalapuram constituency.

KURNOOL: The revamped employment guarantee scheme, renamed VB-G RAM G (Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission Gramin), was launched across the Rayalaseema region on Thursday as part of its statewide rollout.
In Kadapa district, the scheme was inaugurated at Tippireddipalle village in Pendlimarri mandal of Kamalapuram constituency. District collector Dr Cherukuri Sridhar and Kamalapuram MLA Putha Krishna Chaitanya Reddy participated in the programme and interacted with workers.
In Kurnool district, district collector Dr A. Siri, Kurnool MP B. Nagaraju and Pattikonda MLA K.E. Shyam Babu launched the scheme at Veldurthi mandal headquarters. They also performed bhoomi puja to mark the commencement of works and interacted with workers.
In Nandyal district, the programme was inaugurated at the Panyam market yard in the presence of district collector G. Rajakumari and Panyam MLA Gowru Charitha.
During the launch events, district officials reviewed wage payments, working hours and other issues concerning workers. Collectors also explained the objectives and benefits of the VB-G RAM G scheme to beneficiaries.
Public representatives urged workers to make effective use of the programme, particularly in the drought-prone Rayalaseema region, where it is expected to provide livelihood support.
