Vajpayee birth anniversary celebrated across Godavari districts

Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha member D. Purandeswari garlanded Vajpayee’s statue and recalled his contribution to good governance. She said Vajpayee’s birth anniversary is observed as Good Governance Day by the party. She highlighted initiatives such as the Golden Quadrilateral, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, which strengthened road connectivity and promoted universal education. She noted that India’s economic standing improved significantly during Vajpayee’s tenure.

BJP East Godavari district president P. Nagendra, TD leader Ganni Krishna, and BJP leaders Bommula Dattu, K. Harika, K. Satish and others were present.

In Kakinada, BJP district president Bikkina Visweswara Rao garlanded Vajpayee’s statue at Ramaraopeta and addressed a gathering at Gandhinagar Park. He described Vajpayee as a statesman with a humane approach and said his speeches and governance provided clear direction to the nation. BJP leaders Y. Malakondaiah, Duvvuri Subrahmanyam, Kundala Sai Kumar, Godi Satyavathi, G. Venkat and others also paid tributes.
