VIJAYAWADA: Administrative reforms introduced by the Andhra Pradesh government, particularly in the registration department, are earning national recognition for their speed and transparency. Uttarakhand chief electoral officer B.V.R.S.C. Purushottam has praised the State’s revamped system after personally experiencing its efficiency.
Purushottam visited the Anandapuram sub-registrar office in Visakhapatnam district to register a family property and found the process smooth and hassle-free. “The entire registration was completed in just 10 minutes, without any delay or inconvenience,” he said, describing the experience as a matter of pride.
“Hats off to Andhra Pradesh’s governance. The slot-booking system saves citizens’ time and brings greater transparency. This model should be replicated by other States,” he added.
Revenue, registration and stamps minister Anagani Satya Prasad said the success of the reformed system is driven by key measures such as allowing registration at any sub-registrar office across the State, advance slot booking to avoid queues, and extensive use of digital technology to ensure speed, transparency and zero scope for corruption.
