Urdu Academy Launches AI Training Programme for Faculty
The training programme, being conducted from August 4 to 7, is aimed at upgrading the technological skills of faculty members working in the academy's computer training centres.
VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh State Urdu Academy on Tuesday launched a four-day Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Awareness Training Programme for faculty members to enhance their digital skills and strengthen technology-based teaching.
Inaugurating the programme at the Centre for Educational Development of Minorities (CEDM) at Vaddeswaram in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh State Urdu Academy chairman Mohammed Farooq Shibli said teachers must keep pace with rapidly evolving technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, to provide education that meets global standards.
The training programme, being conducted from August 4 to 7, is aimed at upgrading the technological skills of faculty members working in the academy's computer training centres.
The programme covers artificial intelligence, modern digital tools, computer technologies and the application of AI in classroom teaching. Shibli said the initiative would help faculty members deliver technology-driven education and better prepare students for the digital era.
Addressing mediapersons, he said the academy’s initiatives were in line with the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for technology-led development and were being implemented under the guidance of minority welfare and law minister N.M.D. Farooq.
He said the academy aimed to equip minority youth with the skills required to succeed in a technology-driven world.
Minority welfare department secretary Chittoori Sridhar commended the Urdu Academy for introducing initiatives to promote educational advancement among minorities. He said the government planned to integrate Urdu Ghar-cum-Shadikhanas across the State with the Urdu Academy to expand services for minority communities.
CEDM director Yakub Basha, Urdu Academy director and secretary Doddikalla Nizamuddin, academy officials and faculty members attended the inaugural programme.
