Adoni: Two unidentified women allegedly attacked a municipal sanitation contract worker at the Adoni RTC bus stand.
According to reports, the victim was identified as Narasamma. The two women allegedly threw chilli powder into her eyes, poured petrol on her and set her ablaze.
Narasamma suffered severe burn injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police have launched an investigation to identify the attackers and ascertain the motive behind the incident.
