Two Weekly Special Train Services Announced From Visakhapatnam
Train No. 08547 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly Special will operate from August 6 to September 24, covering a total of eight trips.
Visakhapatnam:East Coast Railway (ECR) has announced the extension of two weekly special train services from Visakhapatnam to manage the anticipated surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Diwali and Puja festival season.
The special trains will be operated on the Visakhapatnam-Tirupati and Visakhapatnam-Charlapalli routes through September to accommodate the extra rush of festival travellers.
Train No. 08547 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly Special will operate from August 6 to September 24, covering a total of eight trips. The train will depart from Visakhapatnam every Wednesday at 7 pm and arrive in Tirupati at 9:15 am the following day.
The return service, Train No. 08548 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam, will run from August 7 to September 25, also for eight trips. It will leave Tirupati every Thursday at 9:50 pm and reach Visakhapatnam at 11:30 am the next day.
Train No. 08579 Visakhapatnam-Charlapalli Weekly Special has been extended from August 8 to September 26, covering nine trips with revised timings. The service will depart Visakhapatnam every Friday at 5:30 pm and arrive in Charlapalli at 8 am the following day.
The return journey, Train No. 08580 Charlapalli-Visakhapatnam, will operate from August 9 to September 27, for nine trips. It will leave Charlapalli every Saturday at 3:30 pm and reach Visakhapatnam at 7 am the next day.
