Two Teenagers Killed In Highway Accident Near Narayanavanam

TIRUPATI: Two teenagers were killed and another seriously injured in a road accident on the national highway near Ralla Kalava in Narayanavanam mandal of Tirupati district on Saturday.
According to police, Yuvaraj (17), Yuvaraju (18) and Uday, all residents of Govindappanaidukandriga village, had gone to Singiri Kona on a motorcycle on Saturday afternoon.
While returning, their motorcycle was allegedly hit by a car travelling from Puttur towards Nagalapuram near Ralla Kalava. The impact threw the three youths onto the road.
Police said another car travelling from Nagalapuram towards Tirupati then ran over them.
Yuvaraj and Yuvaraju died on the spot, while Uday sustained serious injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police reached the spot and registered a case. Investigation is under way.
