TTD Revises SRIVANI Darshan Timings for Devotees’ Convenience

Currently, even after purchasing the SRIVANI tickets, devotees often have to wait up to two days for darshan.

Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a change in the timing of SRIVANI (Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmanam) Trust-linked break darshan for devotees availing offline tickets. The change, to be brought on a pilot basis from August 1 to August 15, 2025, will enable the devotees to have the darshan of Lord Venkateswara the same day.

Currently, even after purchasing the SRIVANI tickets, devotees often have to wait up to two days for darshan.

As per the revised system announced by TTD additional executive officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, SRIVANI darshan tickets will now be issued daily at 10 a.m. at a dedicated centre in Tirumala on a first-come, first-served basis. Devotees who receive the tickets must report at Vaikuntam Queue Complex-1 by 4:30 p.m. the same day for break darshan.

The quota of 800 offline SRIVANI tickets will continue as before. However, a separate quota of 200 SRIVANI tickets will be made available at Renigunta Airport daily, starting at 7 a.m., until the day’s allocation is exhausted. TTD officials clarified that this initiative is aimed specifically at easing access for those arriving through offline channels. They also believe that the demand for accommodation at Tirumala will come down as a result.

The SRIVANI Trust-linked break darshan system had been introduced in October 2019. It allows devotees to obtain a one-time VIP break darshan by donating ₹10,000 to the trust, which funds the construction of temples in remote areas all over the country.
