TTD Planning CIBIL-Style Rating for Srivari Seva Volunteers

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is planning to introduce a performance-based rating system for Srivari Seva volunteers on the lines of CIBIL (Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited) score. The volunteers will be assigned based on their Seva ratings, TTD executive officer (EO) Muddada Ravichandra said on Tuesday.

The announcement came during the second phase of Group Supervisors' Training Programme held at Srivari Seva Sadan in Tirumala. The EO said the rating system is being planned to improve the quality of volunteer services offered to devotees.

Muddada said TTD is expanding the Srivari Seva programme to the village level, in line with the directions of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He urged group supervisors to play an active role in strengthening the programme.

Pointing out that there are nearly 50,000 temples across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the TTD EO asked supervisors and volunteers to identify opportunities to extend Srivari Seva to local temples, so that devotees could benefit from the programme beyond Tirumala.

Muddada asked group supervisors to train volunteers in their respective regions before they come to Tirumala. This would help the volunteers provide better services after arriving at the hill shrine. He also encouraged volunteers to serve in temples located within their villages and the region.

Later, the EO interacted with supervisors and sought their suggestions on expanding Srivari Seva to villages, improving the training programme, and enhancing services for devotees. They would examine these suggestions and take appropriate steps.

On the occasion, Muddada felicitated trainers Dr. S.L.N.T. Srinivas from Hyderabad and Sharath from Chennai for conducting the training programme. TTD chief public relations officer (CPRO) Dr. T. Ravi, PRO P. Neelima and Srivari Seva Sadan staff attended the programme.
