TTD Leadership Calls for Dedication Inspired by National Leaders During R-Day Celebrations

Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) executive officer (EO) J. Syamala Rao encouraged employees to emulate the dedication and sacrifices of national leaders who fought for India’s independence. Speaking at the 76th Republic Day celebrations at the TTD Administrative Building Grounds, he urged employees to channel this spirit into improving services for devotees.

Highlighting TTD’s extensive services, the EO praised the successful organisation of rituals under the guidance of Jeeyangars and Agama experts. He noted the recent Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam (January 10–19), which welcomed over seven lakh devotees, as well as the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam and Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavam, which attracted lakhs more. Efficient darshan and prasadam distribution were prioritised at these events.

Rao outlined TTD’s ongoing infrastructure upgrades under the guidance of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Initiatives include collaborations with TVS Motor Company and Reliance Retail to ensure high-quality Annaprasadam and Laddu Prasadam. A new lab is being established to maintain superior standards for ghee and raw materials.

He also highlighted healthcare achievements, such as 3,500 heart surgeries and 17 transplants at Sri Padmavati Children’s Hospital. Republic Day celebrations featured performances by SV College of Music and Dance students and a TTD dog show. Awards were presented to 36 officers and 267 employees for exemplary service.

Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, speaking at Gokulam Rest House, reiterated TTD’s commitment to improving amenities, including queue systems and cottage repairs, and emphasised the importance of IT upgrades, such as the successful e-hundi system for UPI donations.
