TTD Gearing Up for Two Brahmotsavams in September, October
TTD is making extensive arrangements for the Salakatla and Navaratri Srivari Brahmotsavams in Tirumala, scheduled for September and October due to Adhika Masam.

With Tirumala set to witness two Srivari Brahmotsavams this year due to Adhika Masam, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has directed all departments to complete the requisite arrangements within the stipulated time frame.
TTD additional executive officer (EO) Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary reviewed the schedules and arrangements for the upcoming Brahmotsavams with devasthanams JEO Dr. A. Sarath, CVSO K.V. Murali Krishna and other officials in Tirumala on Thursday. He instructed officials to ensure coordination within their departments for smooth conduct of the annual fetes.
The Salakatla Brahmotsavams will begin with Ankurarpanam on September 14, followed by Dhwajarohanam on September 15. Garuda Seva will be on September 19, Rathotsavam September 22 and Chakrasnanam on September 23. The traditional Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on September 8.
The Navaratri Brahmotsavams are scheduled from October 8 to October 16.
During the Brahmotsavams, Vahana Sevas will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every day. In view of the expected devotee rush, VIP break darshans will remain cancelled, except for protocol VIPs. Special darshans for senior citizens, differently-abled persons, parents with infants, NRIs, and donors will also remain suspended during the period.
Considering the heavy turnout expected for Garuda Seva, TTD will restrict the movement of two-wheelers on Tirumala ghat roads from 9 p.m. on September 18 to 6 a.m. on September 20. The additional EO has directed Vigilance, Police and other departments to prepare detailed plans for security, traffic regulation, and parking facilities. Officials have been instructed to ensure adequate distribution of Annaprasadam in queue lines, galleries, and other key areas.
Various departments have been asked to complete the necessary engineering works, maintain sanitation in galleries by deploying additional staff, ensure sufficient laddu stocks, and arrange electrical illuminations, along with fruit and flower exhibitions.
Venkaiah Chowdary asked officials to involve more Srivari Sevaks to provide better services to devotees during the two Srivari Brahmotsavams.
