TTD Chairman Lauds Brandix for Economic Empowerment and Environmental Initiatives

Brandix's community outreach initiatives—such as conducting free eye camps and extending specialised healthcare services to rural women—also drew the TTD chairman’s appreciation.

Visakhapatnam: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman B.R. Naidu praised Brandix India as a powerful agent of change for rural women and regional development during his visit to the company’s sprawling facility at the Integrated Industrial Park in Achyutapuram, Anakapalli district.

The Brandix India Apparel City (BIAC), which employs over 20,000 women—mostly from rural backgrounds—stood out as a model of inclusive growth, Naidu said. Calling the facility “a beacon for Andhra Pradesh,” he said the company's operations exemplify how industrial growth can go hand-in-hand with social empowerment.

During the visit, Brandix India partner Doraswamy walked the chairman through the facility’s employment model, export mechanisms, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Naidu interacted with several women employees and commended the company’s skill development programmes that train undereducated women to produce garments for global fashion brands.

“It is commendable that 20,000 rural women are employed in one place, contributing not only to their families but also to society’s progress,” Naidu said.

He also noted the harmony between technology-driven operations and human development at the facility. “Due to the use of advanced technologies and efficient management, the organisation and its employees are developing hand-in-hand, with minimal conflict,” he observed.

Brandix's community outreach initiatives—such as conducting free eye camps and extending specialised healthcare services to rural women—also drew the TTD chairman’s appreciation.
