TTD Board Member Contributes Fodder to SV Zoo

Tirupati:The S.V. Zoological Park in Tirupati received a donation of 15 tonnes of dry fodder from Jaggampeta MLA and TTD Board member Jyothula Nehru on Friday. The contribution was made through the Jyothula Nehru Foundation and Sri Srinivasa Seva Trust.
Zoo officials said the fodder, transported in two lorries, will be used for 285 herbivorous animals, including spotted deer, blackbuck, bison, hog deer, sambar, chousingha and nilgai. A substantial part of it will support the animals in the 40-acre herbivore safari.
The zoo management noted that the donation has come at an important time, helping them meet essential nutrition needs for the animals. They added that such contributions play a crucial role in strengthening animal care and encouraged more donors to come forward in support of wildlife welfare.
