Truck Rams Into Farm Workers, One Killed

One person was killed and four others were seriously injured when a truck rammed into a group of farm workers near Bhumayyagaripalle Cross in Vemula mandal of Kadapa district on Wednesday.

The workers were preparing to plant tomato seedlings when the truck crashed into them. One worker died on the spot, while four others suffered serious injuries.

Local residents rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Government Hospital in Pulivendula, where they were undergoing treatment.

Vemula police registered a case and launched an investigation.
