Tribal Affairs Director Inspects Lambasingi Museum
Urges agencies to complete museum by September

Visakhapatnam: Deepali Masirkar, director at the ministry of tribal affairs, visited the Tribal Cultural Research and Training Mission in Visakhapatnam to review the progress of the Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum being developed at Tajangi, Lambasingi, in Alluri Sitarama Raju district. She examined the civil and curation works and expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved while urging agencies to expedite the remaining tasks to ensure completion by September.
Deepali Masirkar highlighted that the museum is envisioned as a distinctive cultural and educational destination that showcases the history, heritage, and contributions of tribal freedom fighters. She noted its potential to emerge as a major tourist attraction, drawing visitors from across the country and fostering awareness of the sacrifices and legacy of tribal communities. The project is also expected to generate sustainable livelihood opportunities for local tribal populations through tourism-related activities, cultural exhibitions, handicrafts, traditional food outlets, and other visitor services.
