Tourist Boat Services to Papikondalu Resume From Saturday

Vijayawada:The Polavaram district administration has permitted the resumption of tourist boat services on the Godavari River from Gandi Pochamma ferry point to Papikondalu from Saturday following the completion of a safety audit.

The district administration had suspended the operation of tourist boats on the route from June 13, citing safety concerns, and directed operators to undergo a comprehensive safety audit.

Officials said the safety audit has since been completed, following which permission has been granted for the boats to resume operations to Papikondalu.
