The initiative was formally inaugurated in the presence of circle inspector Ram Kishore and sub-inspector Lokesh Kumar.

TIRUPATI: Tirupati’s Accord School, under the guidance of Alipiri police, launched the EAGLE club (Elite anti-narcotics group for law and enforcement) on Friday to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and encourage responsible behaviour.
The initiative was formally inaugurated in the presence of circle inspector Ram Kishore and sub-inspector Lokesh Kumar. Addressing the students from Classes 7 to 9, the officers explained the harmful effects of narcotic substances and emphasised the importance of staying vigilant against their use and spread.
Students were briefed on identifying drug-related signs, recognising suspicious behaviour, and reporting concerns to school authorities. The session aimed to build early awareness and equip students with the knowledge to act responsibly in such situations.
As part of the programme, all participants took an anti-narcotics pledge, affirming their commitment to a drug-free lifestyle. School principal Satya Lakshmi described the EAGLE club as a platform to instil social awareness and discipline among students. She said the initiative would support broader efforts to protect students and promote a healthy learning environment.
