Tirumala VIP Break Darshans Cancelled from July to September: Check Dates
Recommendation letters for VIP break darshans in Tirumala will not be accepted except for protocol dignitaries during the Brahmotsavam days.

Tirupati: With two Brahmotsavams under way this year owing to Adhika Masam as per the Telugu Calendar, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary directed all heads of the respective departments to finalise plans and ensure completion of all arrangements including the for the Salakatla (annual) Brahmotsavams to be held in September, within the prescribed time frame.
A review meeting was held with all HoDs along with the Tirupati Joint Executive Officer Dr. A. Sharath and CVSO Sri Murali Krishna over departmental preparedness at the Sudharma Conference Hall in Tirumala on Thurday
Keeping in view various festivals and religious events scheduled at the Sri Venkateswara Temple, VIP Break Darshans will remain cancelled on the following dates from July up to September 30, 2026:
– July 14: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam.
– July 17: Anivara Asthanam.
– July 19: Pedda Maryada to the Swamiji of Sri Andavan Ashramam.
– July 29: Chaturmasya Sankalpam of the Tirumala Jeeyar Swamijis.
– August 22: Ankurarpanam for Pavitrotsavams.
– August 24: Pavitra Samarpana on the second day of Pavitrotsavams.
– September 8: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam in connection with Srivari Brahmotsavams.
– September 14: Ankurarpanam for Srivari Brahmotsavams.
– September 15 to 23: (Dwajarohanam, Garuda Vahanam, Rathotsavam, Chakrasnanam dates during the Srivari Brahmotsavams
On the day preceding the above-mentioned dates, VIP recommendation letters will not be accepted, except for the Protocol Dignitaries. Also, special darshans for the elderly, the disabled, parents with infants, NRIs, and donors remain suspended, he stated. Two-wheelers will also remain prohibited on Tirumala Ghat Roads from 9 PM on 18 September to 6 AM on 20 September 2026, owing to expected heavy traffic during Garuda Seva.
Devotees are requested to take note of these restrictions while planning their pilgrimage to Tirumala.
