Tirumala: Good Samaritan Returns Bag Containing 20 Lakh Valuables
An unidentified person travelling on a motorcycle noticed the bag and immediately handed it over to Home Guard Reddappa Rao near the Tirumala GNC tollgate.

Tirumala: A person on a motorcycle returned a bag containing gold ornaments, cash and property documents after finding it near the ghat road at Alipiri.
According to reports, Lakshmi Narayana and Shailaja got married in Tirumala on Friday evening. Their family members travelled in two jeeps in the early hours of Friday. Near the Alipiri checking point, a bag containing valuables reportedly fell from one of the vehicles without the family members noticing it.
An unidentified person travelling on a motorcycle noticed the bag and immediately handed it over to Home Guard Reddappa Rao near the Tirumala GNC tollgate.
The bag reportedly contained 61 grams of gold ornaments worth around Rs.10 lakh, Rs.2,02,840 in cash and property documents worth approximately Rs.10 lakh.
Meanwhile, the family members approached the Police Command Control Centre in Tirumala and lodged a complaint. They were directed to Sector-3 CCTV surveillance, where they explained the details of the items in the missing bag.
After verifying the details and matching them with the contents of the bag, the valuables were handed back to the family members in the presence of TTD AVSO Krishnaiah.
