Car Rams Stationary Lorry Near Hanuman Junction, One Killed
According to reports, the deceased was identified as Nunna Suresh, an employee of Tirumala Educational Institutions in Rajamahendravaram. He died on the spot in the accident.
Vijayawada: A man was killed after the car he was travelling in rammed into a stationary lorry at Bommaluru in Bapulapadu mandal of Krishna district on the Chennai–Kolkata National Highway on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the deceased was identified as Nunna Suresh, a brother of Tirumala Rao, Chairman of Tirumala Educational Institutions, and a resident of Rajamahendravaram. He died on the spot in the accident.
His wife, who was seated in the front passenger seat, sustained severe injuries. The couple was travelling from Vijayawada to Rajamahendravaram when the accident occurred.
Hanuman Junction police reached the spot, shifted the injured woman to a nearby hospital for treatment, and registered a case. Further investigation is underway.
