Tiranga Rallies Organised in Godavari Districts

KAKINADA: Ruling parties Telugu Desam, BJP and Jana Sena of the ruling NDA coalition organised Tiranga (Indian National Flag) rallies at many places in the erstwhile Godavari districts on Sunday.
At Nidadavole, party members and the general public marched in a procession from Gandhi Statue to the Ganapathi Centre holding the tricolour. They raised slogans in favour of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier, the gathering at the Gandhi Statue expressed grief over the death of AP soldier Murali Naick in the hostilities between India and Pakistan. They observed a two-minute silence in the memory of the soldier. s
Speaking on the occasion, Tourism minister Durgesh said Operation Sindoor has increased the fame and image of the country in the world. He said Indians always want peace. They are not for war until forced.
