Hyderabad: A tiger was captured in a camera trap while eating cattle carcass near Peddabommalapuram in Dornala mandal of Markapuram district.
The tiger had reportedly attacked a herd of cattle that had come to graze in the area on September 12, killing two cows and injuring another. Following the incident, cattle herders alerted forest officials, who installed camera traps near the site where the carcass was found.
On Tuesday night, the tiger returned to the spot and was captured on camera. Forest officials are monitoring the area and tracking the tiger’s movements.
