KURNOOL: Minister for industries, commerce and food orocessing T.G. Bharat said TIDCO houses were being handed over to beneficiaries after providing basic infrastructure facilities, in line with the government’s objective of ensuring housing for the poor.
The Minister took part in a TIDCO housing allotment programme held at Jagannath Gattu on the outskirts of Kurnool city on Tuesday and distributed house allotment letters and mega keys to 95 beneficiaries.
Addressing the gathering, Mr Bharat said another 500 TIDCO houses would be allotted in February. He said electricity and drinking water facilities had already been provided at the housing complex and assured that other amenities, including bus services and police security, would be arranged soon.
He urged the beneficiaries to start residing in the houses at the earliest, stating that early occupation would help the area develop faster.
