Kadapa: Three people were killed and two others severely injured in a multi-vehicle collision at Nadimpally, Vontimitta mandal, YSR Kadapa district, on Monday.
The accident occurred when a speeding car travelling from Tirupati collided with a state-run RTC bus and a police vehicle. Three occupants of the car, all from Nandyal, died at the scene.
Constable Raghunath Reddy and a driver sustained serious injuries and were transported to RIMS Hospital in Kadapa. Preliminary police investigations indicate that excessive speed was the primary cause of the accident.
