Two girls and a boy, were rescued by the police at Machilipatnam in Krishna district on Friday
Vijayawada: Three persons were arrested and three abducted minors, including two girls and a boy, were rescued by the police at Machilipatnam in Krishna district on Friday.
According to police, a complaint was lodged at the Machilipatnam police station stating that a a 10-year- old boy who went out from home to purchase some books on December 18, 2025 failed to return home.
As part of investigation, the police arrested three accused in the case, identified as Kandula Yedukondalu, his wife Lakshmi and Thumma Prasad, and found that they abducted two minor girls a year ago and a minor boy a month ago.
Yedukondalu sold away the abducted minor children to his first wife Lakshmi and son Srinath residing at Annavaram village near Nandyala in order to take care of ducks being raised by them. The fourth accused in the case was at large and the police are on the lookout to arrest him.
