Thousands Participate In Sri Venugopala Swamy Rathotsavam At Karvetinagaram

Nellore: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Rukmini Satyabhama Sametha Sri Venugopala Swamy at Karvetinagaram witnessed the grand Rathotsavam on Saturday, drawing thousands of devotees.
Sri Venugopala Swamy, accompanied by Sri Rukmini Devi and Sri Satyabhama Devi, was taken in a ceremonial procession on the temple chariot through the streets of the town amid devotional chants, bhajans and traditional music.
Devotees participated in large numbers, offering camphor aaratis and seeking the blessings of the deity. The procession was marked by continuous chanting of hymns and prayers along the route.
Following the return of the chariot to the temple, Vedic scholars performed special rituals and prayers in accordance with Agama traditions.
Temple authorities said the Ashwa Vahanam Seva would be conducted at 7 pm on Saturday as part of the Brahmotsavam celebrations.
The annual festivities will conclude on June 14 with Chakrasnanam and Dhwajavarohanam.
Temple officials, priests and devotees participated in the event.
