According to the police, Nagarjuna was walking along the road when a ferocious buffalo chased and gored him, inflicting severe injuries that led to his instant death.
Locals witnessed the incident but were unable to intervene due to the buffalo's aggressive behaviour. They informed Nagarjuna's family only after the attack ended. Police arrived at the spot, shifted the body to the local hospital for post-mortem, and registered a case to investigate the incident.
