VISAKHAPATNAM: The investigation into the suspicious death of software engineer Radha Gayatri has gathered pace, with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate issuing a public notice and Uttarakhand Police serving summons on her husband and his parents.
Investigating Officer Rahul Anand invited members of the public to submit complaints, evidence or information related to the case by July 17. The notice followed a postmortem examination that failed to conclusively establish the cause of Radha Gayatri's death, prompting a magisterial inquiry.
Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Police issued summons to her husband Sricharan and his parents, Durgaprasad and Seetha Mahalakshmi. Police said the case was registered at Mussoorie police station under Section 103 of BNS. Notices have also been served on Sricharan's workplace in Pune.
