Teacher Detained Over Misbehaviour With Girl Students
Sources said K. Ramachandra Naik was working as a Telugu teacher at Zilla Parishad High School in Jagan Nagar Colony in Kalyanadurgam town.
ANANTAPUR: A teacher was beaten up and handed over to police by the parents over behaviour with several students at Kalyanadurgam North Zilla Parishad High School in Anantapur district.
Sources said K. Ramachandra Naik was working as a Telugu teacher at Zilla Parishad High School in Jagan Nagar Colony in Kalyanadurgam town. A 9th standard girl informed the parents about his misbehaviour for the past few days and also said the teacher was behaving inappropriately with several girl students in the class. Angered parents and relatives rushed the school and dragged the teacher from the school and beat him up and handed him over to Kalyanadurgam police. The students lamented the Telugu teacher was misbehaving with several girls in the class.
Circle inspector C. Harinath said the teacher Ramachandra Naik was detained, and a case was registered based on a complaint by the parents over misbehaving with the girl students. The Anantapur deputy education officer and administration ordered a detailed report on the incident.
