TD’s ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam-2026’ Crosses One Crore Households in 40 Days

Lokesh said the achievement was a major milestone and credited party workers with explaining the development and welfare initiatives undertaken by the TD-led alliance government during its first two years in office.

Vijayawada:Education minister Nara Lokesh on Friday congratulated Telugu Desam leaders and cadres after the party’s ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam-2026’ outreach programme reached more than one crore households in 40 days.

Lokesh said the achievement was a major milestone and credited party workers with explaining the development and welfare initiatives undertaken by the TD-led alliance government during its first two years in office.

“This milestone is not just a number, but a symbol of the sweat, time, coordination and commitment of every worker who braved sun and rain to meet families, listen to their concerns, and digitally record every interaction,” Lokesh said, appreciating grassroots activists.

He said the campaign’s success reflected the commitment of TD cadres. “Every doorstep visit is a story of commitment. This victory belongs to the workers who made it possible,” he said.

Lokesh said the campaign also collected feedback, local issues and family-level concerns, which were digitally recorded and shared with elected representatives. The two-way communication had helped strengthen the link between citizens and the government.

TD state president Palla Srinivas Rao also congratulated party workers, saying the success belonged to the cadres who carried the message of development and welfare to households.
