TDP Sweeps ZPTC By-Elections in Pulivendula and Vontimitta
TDP secures decisive margins in Pulivendula and Vontimitta ZPTC by-elections.

Kadapa: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) registered a resounding victory in the Pulivendula ZPTC by-election, with candidate Latha Reddy winning by a majority of 6,035 votes.
YSRCP’s Hemanth Reddy lost his deposit, securing only 683 votes, while Congress and independent candidates polled less than 100 votes each.
Eleven candidates contested, and the election recorded a 74% voter turnout.
Minister Savita hailed the result as a victory for democracy and said Pulivendula had gained freedom a day before Independence Day.
The polling took place amid tensions and allegations made by the YSRCP of malpractices and vote rigging. During polling, several YSRCP leaders were placed under house arrest to maintain law and order and to prevent untoward incidents.
TDP’s Muddu Krishna Reddy Wins ZPTC By-Election with 6,276-Vote Majority
TDP candidate Muddu Krishna Reddy emerged victorious in the ZPTC by-election, securing 12,780 votes, while YSRCP candidate Subba Reddy polled 6,513 votes.
Officials announced that Krishna Reddy won the election with a commanding majority of 6,276 votes.
