TDP Secures Hindupur Municipality, Wins Deputy Mayor Posts in Eluru and Nellore

Sixth Ward Councillor Ramesh elected as the Municipal Chairman.

Anantapur: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) captured the Hindupur Municipality on Monday, with Sixth Ward Councillor Ramesh being elected as the Municipal Chairman. He secured 23 votes, while the YSR Congress (YSRC) candidate received 14 votes. Three members were absent from the voting. MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna and MP Parthasarathy participated in the election process.

In Eluru, TDP also won the Deputy Mayor positions. Umamaheshwar Rao and Durga Bhavan were elected unanimously, with officials formally announcing their election.
Similarly, in Nellore, TDP-backed candidate Tahaseen was elected as Deputy Mayor with 29 votes, defeating YSRC candidate Kareemulla, who secured 12 votes.
