TDP Expelled Leader Jayachandra Reddy Arrested in Mulakalacheruvu Fake Liquor Case

Jayachandra Reddy held in Bengaluru; total arrests in fake liquor case rise to 32.

Police have arrested expelled TDP leader Jayachandra Reddy in connection with the fake liquor manufacturing racket uncovered in Mulakalacheruvu of Annamayya district. Excise officials apprehended him in Bengaluru and are bringing him back to Andhra Pradesh.

Jayachandra Reddy is accused of being a key supporter of the prime accused, Addepalli Janardhan Rao, allegedly providing financial assistance and backing for the illegal operation. According to the remand report, the entire fake liquor production was carried out under his supervision.

So far, police have arrested 31 accused in the case, and with the arrest of Jayachandra Reddy, the total number has risen to 32. He will be taken to the Madanapalle Excise Office for further questioning.
