TD symbolises Telugu pride, says MP Vemireddy
Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy lauds Naidu’s global vision, promises continued development

Nellore: The Telugu Desam (TD) embodies the pride of the Telugu people, said Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy during the Mini Mahanadu event held at AMC Grounds, Atmakur.
The event witnessed grand celebrations, with key leaders, including state endowments minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and district TD president Abdul Aziz, in attendance.
Vemireddy credited TD chief and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for bringing global recognition to the Telugu community. He stated that it was the vision of Naidu that enabled Telugu people to thrive on an international stage.
Paying tribute to TD founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), he said the party was established to uphold Telugu self-respect, and that legacy is being carried forward by Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh.
Highlighting the party’s grassroots strength, he called TD the only party whose workers are willing to sacrifice their lives for its cause, adding that under Lokesh’s youthful leadership, the party will emerge even stronger.
Anam Ramanarayana Reddy was lauded as an experienced leader driving major development in the Atmakur constituency.
Nearly Rs 450 crore worth of projects, including roads, canals, and work near the Somasila project, are underway. MP Vemireddy affirmed his commitment to securing central funds for continued development in the region.
