TD State Chief Palla For Transparency In Identifying AP’s Golden Families

The exercise should ensure that no family suffers exclusion or procedural injustice: Telugu Desam state president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao

VISAKHAPATNAM: Telugu Desam state president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao told the government Sachivalayam personnel to be transparent in identifying Bangaru Kutumbalu (golden families) in Andhra Pradesh.

At a review meeting of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s P4 (people, public, private partnership) model held with Sachivalayam personnel in Gajuwaka on Monday, Srinivasa Rao made it clear that the enumeration of eligible Bangaru households must be carried out with fairness, diligence and scrupulous honesty.

The exercise should ensure that no family suffers exclusion or procedural injustice. He asked officials concerned to ensure that every qualifying household receives all government’s support without delay.

Invoking Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s Vision – 2047, the TD state president observed that poverty eradication is the fulcrum of AP’s long-term development agenda under the NDA coalition government’s P4. This initiative, he said, is not a routine survey, but a historic intervention.

It has the potential to reshape the socio-economic destiny of the poorest households.

Srinivasa Rao called upon the field staff to view their role not merely as an administrative duty, but a rare opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the collective future of Andhra Pradesh.

He directed officials to document with precision whether each household resides in its own home, a rented dwelling, or any alternative accommodation. In cases of home ownership, he stressed the need to classify the land category—government, assigned (Jerayathi), or other holdings. Where government land is involved, verification of pattas is mandatory, he said.

The TD AP chief wanted officials to ascertain whether such lands fall under the VMRDA limits within objectionable categories, belong to APIIC, or are part of private disputes, or are under various corporations. Simultaneously, he instructed staff to promptly identify individuals eligible for pensions and families entitled to ration cards, ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is overlooked.

As part of the exercise, Srinivasa Rao wanted government staff to compile details of those requiring emergency medical procedures without delay, so that assistance under schemes, such as the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF), can be extended immediately. The government’s responsibility, he emphasised, is to understand the specific circumstances of each household and provide the resources required for stability and advancement.

Describing P4 as the foundational step toward building a poverty-free Andhra Pradesh, the TDP state chief requested the staff to execute the exercise with total accountability and unwavering commitment.
