TD Praja Vedika Grievance Redressal Event on Daily Basis
CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu stressed the need for the public to have direct access to ministers and senior party leaders for submission of petitions and grievances
VIJAYAWADA: The Telugu Desam party’s central office at NTR Bhavan in Mangalagiri would conduct the Praja Vedika grievance redressal programme on a daily basis.
An instruction to this effect was given by party head and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He stressed the need for the public to have direct access to ministers and senior party leaders for submission of petitions and grievances.
The party stated on Friday that the public can attend the Praja Vedika any day other than Friday. Constituency-level grievance meetings are already conducted on that day under the supervision of the respective MLAs, it said.
The Praja Vedika will also not be held on January 14, 15 and 16 owing to the Bhogi, Sankranti and Kanuma festivals, and on January 26, the Republic Day.
From January 3, ministers and chairpersons of state corporations would attend the Praja Vedika on designated dates and hear public grievances.
