TD Nellore Parliament General Secretary Chejerla Rebukes Prasanna For Justifying His Remarks Against Prashanthi
Speaking to the media during a press meet at his office in Kovur on Tuesday, Venkateswara Reddy has criticised Prasanna for attempting to justify his belittling remarks against Prashanthi Reddy by claiming she had accused him of taking a commission on every project.

Nellore: TD Nellore Parliament general secretary Chejerla Venkateswara Reddy said former Kovur MLA Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s derogatory remarks against present MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy has brought shame to public discourse.
Speaking to the media during a press meet at his office in Kovur on Tuesday, Venkateswara Reddy has criticised Prasanna for attempting to justify his belittling remarks against Prashanthi Reddy by claiming she had accused him of taking a commission on every project.
“If mild political criticism triggers such extreme reactions from Prasanna Kumar, what about his own past comments,’ questioned Venkateswara Reddy.
He once said Chandrababu Naidu should be tied to a tree and beaten, questioned why someone heading to a crematorium should be in politics, and made many other harsh remarks — including personal attacks on Lokesh, Pawan Kalyan, and even Election Commissioners.
There’s hardly any leader in this district or state whom Prasanna Kumar has not either flattered or insulted based on his convenience.
Praising leaders like Chandrababu Naidu, Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy or the VPR couple when it suits him and attacking them later is typical of Prasanna Kumar Reddy.
While leaders like Puchalapalli Sundarayya, Nallapureddy Srinivasulu Reddy, Bezawada Papi Reddy and Jakka Venkayya enhanced Kovur’s reputation through their eloquence, Prasanna Kumar has damaged it through his foul language,” Venkateswar Reddy alleged.
He said MLA Prashanthi Reddy, with the support of MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, has contributed significantly to the development of the Kovur constituency during the past one year and Prasanna resorted to personal attacks unable to digest her rising popularity.
“It was Chandrababu Naidu who had the courage to arrest his own party worker for posting derogatory content about Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife Bharathi, emphasising that no insult to any woman would be tolerated.
If Jagan Mohan Reddy truly respects women, he should prove it by suspending Prasanna Kumar Reddy from the party for his inappropriate comments against Prashanthi Reddy,” Venkateswar Reddy challenged.
