Kovur MLA highlights Chandrababu Naidu government's welfare schemes during ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ campaign

Nellore: Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy stated that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was committed to the development and welfare of the state.

As part of the ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ campaign, she toured NSR Colony at Nandhalagunta and Patur villages in Kovur mandal on Thursday, where she interacted with locals and explained the achievements of the TD-led government in its first year. She said that roads, pensions and basic services have significantly improved under the current government.
Andhra Pradesh now provides the highest pension amounts to senior citizens and has doubled pensions for the differently-abled. Under the ‘Deepam 2’ scheme, three free LPG cylinders are being given annually.
Through ‘Thalliki Vandhanam,’ Rs 15,000 per child of financial assistance is offered to reduce educational burden. Farmers are receiving `20,000 under ‘Annadata Sukhibhava,’ and free RTC bus travel for women will begin from August 15, she noted.
The MLA assured that every eligible poor person will receive welfare benefits and promised justice to every TD worker who stood by the party during tough times. She credited her electoral victory to the hardwork of party members and vowed to fulfill all poll promises.
She also said efforts were underway to attract industries through IFFCO Kisan SEZ, MIDHANI and a sugar factory to create local job opportunities. Several local TDP leaders participated in the programme.
