Tanuku Couple Jumps Into Godavari With Two Children

Tanuku: A couple from Tanuku, identified as Srinivas (45) and his wife Padmini (42), reportedly jumped into the Godavari River along with their two children from the Chinchinada Bridge.

Fishermen rescued Padmini and brought her safely to the riverbank. She was later shifted to a hospital in Palakollu for treatment.

Search operations are underway to trace Srinivas and the two children. Preliminary information suggests that financial problems may have led to the incident. Further details are awaited.
